David Weekley Homes Fort Worth & Tarrant County

David Weekley is a very popular home builder in North Texas and other parts of the country. I've personally bought and lived in a David Weekley Home, so I can tell you all the ins-and-outs about the company.

Personally, I prefer David Weekley Homes to DR Horton Homes, but generally speaking, the DR Horton Home is usually slightly more affordable than the David Weekley models in the same new home communities. These two home builders often share space in the same master planned communities.

I think David Weekley Homes are a bit more higher quality. You can tell when you walk in the homes that they feel more solid than the DR Horton or other builders. The other builders try to make up for quality with gazillions of upgrades, but that doesn't hide the fact that the quality is just not as high as David Weekley. Maybe it's just my perception after exposure to excellent marketing by David Weekley, but this is the impression that I have after working with both companies extensively.

David Weekley Homes has the details down better. For example, Weekley seems to employee better sales agents, in my humble opinion. (I should know) The package they give you when you buy a home is big and substantial. You feel like you're part of a well-oiled machine throughout the entire build-out process. The price is a little higher than the others in the area, which I'm sure has contributed to my bias.
